Dr. Amanda Aikens

Dr. Amanda Aiken is an experienced leadership development expert, advisor, and systems leader in education, committed to developing thriving organizations and supporting thriving leaders. She is the Owner and Principal Consultant for A.Leigh Solutions a Leadership Development and Organizational Strategy firm that works with foundations, non-profits, districts, schools, and social impact enterprises. Dr. Aiken is also the Co-Founder of The Center for Sustainable Leadership. She has had numerous roles in the education sector including Senior Chief and Schools Officer for NOLA Public Schools, Charter Network Leader, and School Leader, and started her education career as a 4th-grade Teacher.

Dr. Aiken is dedicated to the development of future educators and leaders and has also held several roles in higher education. She is an Adjunct Professor at Tulane University and previously she has served as a Teaching Fellow and Academic Advisor at Harvard University, an Adjunct Professor with Relay Graduate School of Education, and an Internship Coach with the Summer Principals' Academy with Teachers College, Columbia University.
